Superannuation is a vitally important part of many people’s lives. For some, it is the difference between retiring in comfort or retiring on a frugal income. Many people find superannuation hard to understand, with much of the existing information full of jargon and technical terms.
Through our website and mobile app, we provide a series of infographic videos and interactive activities that explain how superannuation works, introduces the basic concepts and terms, and presents the common decisions a typical Australian might face.
Our aim is not to turn people into superannuation experts. For us, a successful outcome is for people to come away with a level of confidence in their understanding of superannuation and an awareness of what their options are.
While there are many groups that provide financial literacy education — from the Australian government to financial institutions to non-profit organisations and individuals — research continues to show that achieving financial literacy is an ongoing challenge for many Australians.
We believe there is an opportunity to change how financial literacy is delivered in Australia by utilising contemporary, interactive education techniques in conjunction with modern technology.
Our vision is to help Australians better engage and feel confident with their finances.
